DIY Christmas Card Ideas

I’m currently blogging live from the airport and it is (not surprisingly) a little crazy! As always, Christmas has crept up on me and since I’m flying home a few days early, I needed to get gifts together even sooner than usual which means no procrastinating for me (theoretically). For the past couple days I have been a crafting fiend, making gifts all day and Netflix binging on cheesy abcFamily holiday movies.

I bought brown cardstock paper from Michael’s last year and it has been my essential supply for card making ever since! I love that the brown gives the card an earthy feel, and it’s light enough that I can write on it visibly. I used mostly ribbon and my trusty hot glue gun to make all my holiday cards. I know from personal experience that sometimes, it helps to have inspiration when making cards. So, below are the cards I made this year and hopefully it will bring some holiday inspiration to anyone wanting to handmake their own cards – I highly encourage it!
